PRIMARY school pupil Miley Kimberley is cutting her hair for cancer charity Little Princess Trust.

The seven-year-old pupil from Birchen Coppice Primary Academy was moved by the story of a young girl on ‘This Morning’ suffering from hair loss after chemotherapy.

Miley decided to involve herself in fundraising after her mother informed her about the Little Princess Trust and their work providing wigs to children.

Miley said:"I want to cut my hair because I want to help the children with no hair feel pretty because they are. I want to make them feel better even if it’s just a little bit better."

At least seven inches will be cut from her hair and donated to the charity, along with the money raised.

Miley hopes to raise £200 for the trust, with the target close to being achieved on her JustGiving page.

People can donate to Miley’s JustGiving page at justgiving.com/fundraising/miley-kimberley.

The cut will take place at Lucy Potter Hair and Beauty in Kidderminster on March 3 at 1.45pm, with salon owner Lucy Potter cutting Miley’s hair free of charge.
