AN ANNUAL quiz to support the Mayor of Stourport’s chosen charities will now take place later this month.

The Town Mayor’s Charity Quiz Night will be held at the Elizabeth Mills Day Centre in New Street, on Saturday, March 24 at 7.30pm.

It was originally due to be held on March 2 at the Stourport Civic but was called off due to the snow.

But organiser’s have rearranged the event at a new venue where people will battle it out for the Mayor’s Trophy. There will also be prizes for second and third place as well as a booby prize.

All funds raised will go to Stourport Mayor Vi Higgs’ chosen charities Acorns Children’s Hospice and Homestart.

Entry payable on the night costs £10 per team of four. Anyone attending should let Quiz Master Pete Roberts, of Pete’s Prints in Bridge Street, know so he can book a table. People can also call him on 01299 826930.
