IT will be a cloudy start to the evening across north Worcestershire and the Black Country, with outbreaks of heavy rain.

Low cloud is expected to linger, creating fog on the hills.

It will turn drier in the south of the region as we reach the early hours of the morning, but still quite cloudy, and with showers continuing in the north.

Minimum temperature 6C.

Looking ahead to the weekend, cloud and showers will continue into Saturday morning, but brighter and drier spells are possible in the afternoon.

It will feel quite mild, especially in the sunshine, with temperatures reaching 15C.

Expect a mixture of sunny spells and heavy showers on Sunday, and into the start of next week.
