NEIGHBOURS will be behaving badly for audiences in a play to be performed in Kidderminster.

The Alan Ayckbourn black comedy Neighbourhood Watch will be running at the Rose Theatre from Monday May 14 to Saturday.

The story follows brother and sister Martin and Hilda Massie who form a neighbourhood watch group to protect their run-down estate after a trespasser disturbs their peace.

After their prize gnome Monty comes crashing through their window, matters escalate as the two establish an authoritarian campaign against the youth and petty criminals of the estate – leading to unexpected consequences.

Audiences can expect a performance of dark humour with the play exploring human nature in a tense and hostile community.

Tickets for Neighbourhood Watch are available via the Rose Theatre website at www.rosetheatre.co.uk or by contact their box office on 01562 743745.

The performance will start at 7.30pm.
