BEWDLEY moved to second place in Division One of the Worcestershire County League thanks to a comfortable success over Burghill, Tillington and Weobley.
Visitors Burghill elected to bat but soon lost wickets to a penetrating opening spell from Martyn Carr (3-49).
Andy Platt found conditions to his liking and bowled unchanged to finish with 3-34, and Josh Freestone joined the fun with 3-18.
Bewdley made short work of their modest target with Nick Wilkinson making a solid 24, Simon Mauger anchoring the innings with 26 not out, and Gareth Lewis contributing some fireworks with 21 not out.
The game was all over quickly as the hosts chalked up a seven-wicket win.
They will look to maintain their fine form when they visit Feckenham on Saturday.
