BEWDLEY’S first ever community pantomime is arriving on stage next year with show-loving residents invited to get involved in the fairy-tale fun.

A production of Cinderella will enchant panto fans at The Mercure Bewdley The Heath Hotel in January 2019, showing from Thursday 3 to Saturday 5.

The organisers of the shows, Bewdley Town Council, are looking for those willing to lend a hand backstage, front of house, or even acting.

Kyle Daisley, the Council’s Community Engagement Officer said: “We have already been inundated with messages and support from the community who are all eager to lend a hand to make this show the best it can possibly be.

"Anybody who wants to take part will be able to contribute to this event, no matter what their experience or skillset.”

A meeting to discuss plans for the show will be held at the Guildhall, Bewdley at 6pm on Friday May 25, with all welcome to attend.

People who would like to get involved or find out more information can get in touch with Kyle on 01299 400157 or e-mail community@bewdleytowncouncil.org.
