A KIND-hearted choir are celebrating their fundraising success after a high-profile concert in aid of a military charity.

The Kidderminster Male Choir performed the 'Concert for Heroes' at Chateau Impney on April 20, supporting the Battle Back Centre.

The selfless singers will be donating a impressive £2,500 to the Battle Back Organisation, with a presentation evening being planned for the near future.

Around 400 people were in attendance, with the Band of the West Midland Fire Service and members of the Royal Air Force (Cosford) Band also serenading the audience.

Steve Conway KMC Concert Secretary said: "I would like to thank the choir and the bands, Chateau Impney Hotel and all the fantastic people from KMC who worked behind the scenes to ensure this success.

"Also a massive thank you to all those in our audience."

The organisers have announced the reprisal of the concert next year following this April's reception, with other KMC concerts being announced in the coming weeks.
