A DISCO will be held in Kidderminster later this month in aid of a charity that helped save a teenager’s life.
The event will be held at Kidderminster Harriers’ Aggborough Suite on June 23 from 7.30pm.
Proceeds raised from the event will go to the Midlands Air Ambulance who came to the aid of 18-year-old Sophie Price, who was involved in a car crash in March. The Kidderminster College student suffered serious injuries in the incident.
The disco will feature music from the 60s, 70s and 80s and will also feature a raffle, with organisers looking for raffle prizes to be donated to help the cause.
Tickets cost £10 – which includes a buffet – and anyone wishing to buy a ticket or donate raffle prizes can do so by contacting Dave Pearce on 07961 206743.
*Kidderminster College is also hosting a fair in its foyer on Wednesday, June 13 from 10am to 4pm, with proceeds also going to the Air Ambulance.
This event has been organised by Sophie’s classmates on the Level 3 Technical Diploma in Childcare and Education course.
