DONALD Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un have come together for a momentous summit, with the US president saying the meeting went “better than anybody could imagine”.

In a meet-up that seemed unthinkable just months ago, Mr Trump and Mr Kim met with staged ceremony at a Singapore island resort.

Before the watching world, they strode toward each other and clasped hands warmly before a row of alternating US and North Korean flags.

EASYJET has claimed its air fares would be cut by almost one third if a new runway is built at Heathrow.

The budget airline says passengers would benefit from cheaper flights on existing UK and European routes due to competition.

Expanding the west London airport would allow low-cost carriers to operate a significant number of flights from the airport for the first time, according to easyJet.

WOMEN who decide not to breastfeed their child must be respected for their choice, midwives are being told.

Updated advice from the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) stresses that new mothers should be given appropriate support if they make an informed decision to bottle feed.

The new guidance still says babies should be exclusively breastfed for the first six months of their life, in line with advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

SONY has unveiled its PlayStation games line-up to challenge rival Microsoft and the Xbox, including the first in-game footage of the next title in the critically acclaimed Last Of Us series.

The Last Of Us Part II is the long-awaited sequel to 2013 Bafta award-winning original and was showcased at a special event ahead of the opening of the E3 video games trade show in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Japan-based action game Ghost Of Tsushima, Spider-Man and a remake of classic horror game Resident Evil 2 were among the other games shown off at the event.
