VISITORS to a Kidderminster park enjoyed fun in the sun during a scout group’s annual fair.
The KD11 Harkaway group held the annual event in Broadwaters Park on Saturday (June 23) and helped raise more than £800 for their activities.
Mayor of Kidderminster Martin Stooke opened the event, alongside Mayoress Nicky Greensill.
Councillor Stooke was presented with a framed Harkaway necker after being greeted by the assembled beavers, cubs and scouts.
Entertainment was provided by Elements Dancing School, JT Rockin Hip-Hop and from the Ukes on the Edge Ukulele group from Kinver. They were also joined by veteran entertainer Mike Lewis.
The success of the event, which also featured a host of charity stalls alongside the scouts, means organisers are looking forward to arranging another one next year.
