GREENFINGERED Cleobury Mortimer residents are invited to explore hidden gardens in the town’s fourth Open Garden Trail.
The event, organised by The Friends of Saint Mary’s Church, will take place on Sunday July 15 from 12pm to 4pm, and will take visitors down paths of horticultural havens, cottage gardens, churchyards and more on an enchanting walk.
People from far and wide can join the winding walk, which will raise funds Saint Mary’s Church, and for the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust, which supports other historic religious buildings in the country.
Tickets, which are in the form of an event programme and map, cost £5 and accompanied children can enter for free.
They can be purchased from the town’s Pharmacy, Library and Spire Hairdressing beforehand, or in the Church on the day.
Parking is free in the town and afternoon teas will be served in the church.
