CREWS in Wyre Forest were called to deal with two separate fires in the open within an hour.
Bewdley firefighters tackled an unattended bonfire in Button Oak, Kinlet, at 7.51pm last night (July 27).
And shortly before 7pm, a crew from Kidderminster extinguished a grass fire in a field in Lickhill, Stourport.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has been issuing warnings about the risks of wild fires during the heatwave.
