A TEENAGER has admitted starting a fire which burned down a £750,000 Stourport sports club.

Damien John Evans, 19, of Tomkinson Drive, Kidderminster pleaded guilty to arson at Kidderminster Magistrates Court yesterday and was bailed to appear at Worcester Crown Court, on Friday, January 4.

Stourport Sports Club was destroyed by fire in the early hours of Tuesday despite the best efforts of 25 firefighters.
