STAFF at a new Tesco Express store in Kidderminster celebrated its opening with a £500 donation to Kemp Hospice.

Fund-raisers, Alistair Fuller, Beth Jackson and Kate Wilkinson, from the Mason Road hospice, were guests of honour at the opening of the Comberton Hill shop last Thursday.

Store manager, Mark Townsend, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer our support to the hospice and would like to thank Alistair, Kate and Beth for agreeing to join us in our celebrations and officially open the new store.

"We are pleased that a shop that will serve the community is supporting a local charity that directly benefits local people."
