POLICE are appealing for information after ten people were arrested and a “significant quantity” of crack cocaine was seized from two houses in Kidderminster.

Inquiries are on-going and officers are appealing for anyone with information about unusual or suspicious activities in the Park Street area to contact West Mercia Constabulary on 08457 444888, quoting Operation Carmine, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

The men and women were arrested by officers from West Mercia Constabulary at properties in Park Street yesterday evening.

As well as the crack cocaine, property believed to have been stolen in burglaries, including computer equipment and a vehicle, were also recovered.

The 10, who are believed to be from Kidderminster and other areas, including Liverpool and Gateshead, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences and remain in custody at police stations across the force area.
