A RESIDENT of Bromsgrove Road, in Stone, has told the Shuttle/Times & News what he saw in the aftermath of a collision between two cars this afternoon.
A Mitsubishi and a Rover collided just before 2pm on Bromsgrove Road and one man was airlifted to hospital.
Resident, Stephen Pierson, said he heard “a loud bang” while he was in his house and “wondered what was going on”.
He went on: “I went outside my house and saw the police and the emergency services had turned up.
“It looked like the Mitsubishi had been heading toward Kidderminster when the collision had happened.
“It appeared the driver of that car was treated on a grass verge and then airlifted to hospital. After the collision, the Mitsubishi car had ended up completely on the grass verge and the Rover was partly on the grass.”
Mr Pierson said there had been three car crashes that he knew of recently on Bromsgrove Road.
He added: “It is a dangerous, winding road that has caused some problems in the past.”
