A MAN has been cleared of a high value burglary after a delivery driver was unable to recognise a suspect outside a raided property.
The witness said he had been at school with 35-year-old Marco Harvey and was certain the man he saw walking away in Wilden Lane, Stourport, was not him, said prosecutor Gareth Walters.
Mr Harvey, of Bigbury Lane, Wilden, had denied burglary and was given a not guilty verdict after no evidence was offered at Worcester Crown Court.
Judge Daniel Pearce-Higgins QC was also told that footprint evidence recovered by police at the scene was not conclusive.
