A PENSIONER who died six weeks after she was injured in a road accident died of natural causes, police have confirmed.
The woman, who was in her 80s and from Stourport, died at Kidderminster Hospital on Tuesday where she had been recovering after the accident on August 20.
She suffered head injuries and a broken shoulder after she was in collision with a red Vauxhall Corsa in Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster.
It happened at 2.15pm, moments after she had got off a bus opposite Kidderminster Hospital.
A post mortem examination was held yesterday.
There are no plans for an inquest and police are still investigating the circumstances of the road collision.
