OXFAM in Kidderminster is calling all book worms to get involved in a fund-raising festival.

The annual Bookfest runs until next Saturday (July 18), with a variety of novels and non-fiction on sale.

The shop, in Coventry Street, also has a window display showing customers that books can “furnish a room”, with “crime in the kitchen” or “romance in the living room”.

Volunteers are also appealing for any unwanted books to be donated. “If you enjoyed a book, so will someone else,” said Joan Hobson, a member of the shop’s book team.
