Belbroughton crash death man 'struck from behind'
2:18pm Wednesday 8th July 2009 in News
A CYCLIST involved in a collision in Belbroughton died after his pushbike was “struck from behind by another vehicle”, the coroner has said.
David Coldicott, 61, from Halesowen, suffered fatal injuries in a crash along the A491 in Belbroughton on Saturday at about 5.25pm.
After the incident, police said the bike he was riding was in collision with a blue Nissan Micra.
Worcestershire coroner, Geraint Williams, opened and adjourned the inquest today awaiting reports.
On the HM Coroners website, it states: “Mr Coldicott was riding his pushbike when he was struck from behind by another vehicle.”
