WITH only three weeks to go until Bewdley Festival, organisers say they are delighted with the public response.
Spokeswoman Carole Swingler said that ticket sales have exceeded all expectations since they went on sale in July, with many events selling out.
She added that tickets are still available for Jan Ravens the impressionist, Broadway to Bewdley, featuring songs from the great musicals and Beverley Craven.
There are also a handful left for legendary former racing driver, Sir Stirling Moss, drama, Gertrude's Secret, starring Prunella Scales of Fawlty Towers fame and Richard Digance.
Mrs Swingler said: "We're thrilled with the response. We always get good support from all the local community and they haven't let us down.
"Each year we rack our brains about the new programme and we think, is this going to be as good and popular as last time?
"The number of tickets sold prove it is going to be as popular as last year.
"We have got brilliant audiences for everything but we do like people to know that there's still availability."
Audiences can still attend daytime events such as legendary singer/songwriter, Vin Garbutt, the CBSO Leo String Quartet, story teller and ukelele player Gabriella, and talks on Van Gogh, Ruth Ellis, Richard III, Charles Darwin, Youth Justice, Archaeology in our local area and the role and work of the Coroner.
Meanwhile, families can take part in events such as a ceramic painting session as well as visiting the historic Uncllys Farm.
Tickets for the events can be bought in person from Bewdley Tourist Office, or by calling 01905 611427.
