A BEWDLEY journalist has been found dead at his home.
An inquest into the death of Gerard Martin Phelan, who was found dead last Monday, has been opened and adjourned today by the Worcestershire coroner.
Mr Phelan, who was 58 and known to industry colleagues as Ged, had worked as a freelance, including a brief spell with The Shuttle.
In June this year, he had appealed against a speeding conviction imposed last year after being caught by a speed camera in Worcester. A judge rejected the appeal.
