Ex-Hollyoaks star taking to Kidderminster stage

A FORMER Hollyoaks actress is taking to the stage at a Christmas concert in Kidderminster.

Fresh from performing in Mexico, the Back to Broadway group arrives at the Rose Theatre in Chester Road North for performances next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The show stars Helen Noble, who played Abby Davies, sister of heart-throb firefighter Ben, in the Channel Four soap for four years. Performing with Back to Broadway marks her return to musical theatre.

The rest of the cast includes Graham Tudor, who took the role of Joseph in the 2002 UK tour in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The show features some popular highlights from classic West End and Broadway musicals, with a number of medleys and costume changes.

Tomorrow and Saturday’s shows will also star children from the Back to Broadway Summer School in Solihull, performing a favourite from High School Musical.

A donation from proceeds will be made to Acorns Children’s Hospice on all three nights.
