Bewdley Legionnaires' outbreak 'no threat'


AN ISOLATED outbreak of Legionnaires' disease during which a Bewdley man died “posed no threat to the health of the wider community”, an inquest heard.

Kenneth Stanley Grisswell, 85, contracted the disease at home and was taken ill. He died in hospital on November 10.

A verdict of accidental death was recorded today at Worcestershire Coroners Court in Stourport.
