POWELL. John Geoffrey, born 28th October 1928, passed away on 24th September 2009 in Torquay after a sudden illness. John was well known as a talented cricketer, who then umpired for 39 years. John leaves behind a son Kevin, daughter Heather and four grandchildren. Funeral is at Torquay crematorium Tuesday 6th October at 2pm.
