TWO vehicles, together worth £9,500, were stolen from an address in Bewdley.

The white Ford Transit van, worth £9,000, and the silver Kia Rio, which was displaying L plates on the bonnet, and was worth £500, were taken from an address in Church Lane, Bewdley, between 11pm last night and the early hours of today.

It is believed the offenders got in through a window and took the keys.

The vehicles were seen in convoy near the Land Oak pub in Kidderminster at 1.50am today, heading along the A449 in the direction of Wolverhampton.

Their registration numbers are CN55 ZYV for the Ford Transit van and DX51 VST for the Kia Rio car.

PC Darren Broom, of West Mercia Police, said: “The roads would have been quiet at that time of the morning, so someone may have noticed these vehicles travelling together.”

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PC Broom at West Mercia Police quoting incident 50-s-300910 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
