Search is on to find the Bard of Worcestershire

WYRE Forest poets have the chance to compete for the title of The Bard of Worcesterhire.

To celebrate the county’s first Literary Festival, a competition has been launched to find Worcestershire’s Poet Laureate.

The contest is open to anyone over 20-years-old who lives in Worcestershire.

To enter, submit two poems to the festival team, one of which is on the subject of Worcestershire. The other may be on any topic. The poems can be of any length and in any format. The deadline for entries is 5pm, on Friday, May 6.
