PUPILS at a Wyre Forest school have been learning more about various cultures.
Upper Arley CE Primary School acted on an Ofsted recommendation it provide pupils with the opportunity to gain greater cultural understanding.
The school responded by creating two curriculum opportunities in one week alone.
Pupils took part in Chinese New Year celebrations with activities and releasing Chinese lanterns into the sky.
Students visited a Sikh Gurdwara - temple - in Birmingham, experiencing worship in the main hall, touring the temple and enjoying a shared meal.
Trip organiser Jayne Tramontana said: βIt was a great opportunity for pupils to discuss and compare the common values and beliefs that we all share. They all really enjoyed their experience.β
