YOUNG members of a Future Enterprise Board at Thomas Vale Construction visited a charity in memory of a young Trimpley woman ahead of a hollywood ball set to boost the foundation.
The Emily Jordan Foundation was one of three charities they visited which will benefit from the fund-raiser, in Birmingham later this year.
The charity helps individuals with moderate learning and physical disabilities to lead valued and fulfilled lives.
Chris Jordan, chairman of the trustees of the foundation, said: “We are very pleased that Thomas Vale has chosen The Emily Jordan Foundation as one of its partner charities for this event. As a business, they are well known for their community work and their support of aiding disadvantaged groups to enter the workplace.
“We are hoping that local businesses within the construction sector, sign up their young people to attend the event to raise awareness of the difference that the services that these charities and social enterprises make to mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers across the area.”
People can get further information about the ball by contacting Sasha Cotterill on 01299 827770 or by emailing febevent@thomasvale.com.
