MORE than 70 energetic women Zumba danced non-stop for two hours to raise £3,000 for Kemp Hospice.
The enthusiastic bunch packed into Kidderminster Town hall, some having experienced the dance craze before, while for others it was all new.
“Many of the ladies said they could have carried on for longer which I’m sure was down to our three fantastic Zumba instructors, Sandra Todd, Donna Eccleston and Juliet Gill who led the non-stop two-hour Zumbathon dance party, “ said organiser, Kate Wilkinson, Kemp Hospice Fundraiser.
“It is anticipated that the Zumbathon will raise £3,000 for Kemp which will be put immediately to continue the care for local people dealing with life threatening illness.”
The hospice’s facebook page has been busy since the dance off with photos, videos and comments from everyone at the event, find them at facebook.com/kemphospice.
