A KIDDERMINSTER nursery is inviting children, families and staff past and present to help celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Church House Day Nursery, Brook Street, will host a party at Rock Village Hall on Sunday, May 20, from 2pm until 5pm.

The nursery was founded by Gwen Spencer in the Church House in Bewdley, now known as the Meeting House, in 1982.

On the day, there will be a bouncy castle, ice cream van, drinks and cakes. Party-goers will also have the opportunity to contribute to a patchwork quilt to commemorate the occasion.

Over the years, the private day care nursery has increased its increase from 12 to the present 70.
