A MAN’S jaw was broken in an attack outside a Kidderminster nightclub and police are appealing for witnesses.
The victim, who is in 20s, was assaulted and knocked to the ground by two men outside Tribe in Green Street at about 4am on Friday, April 20.
An ambulance took the injured man to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital where he underwent an operation for a broken jaw. He was discharged on Sunday, April 22.
Detective Constable Mark Wilding of Kidderminster CID said: "This appears to have been an unprovoked attack which has left the victim with a significant injury. We have studied CCTV footage and we know there were a number of men and women present when this happened. We urgently need them to come forward and tell us what they saw and to give us the names of those responsible if they know them."
Witnesses or anyone with information should call Kidderminster CID on 101, quoting the incident reference 67-S-200412, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Two men who have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent have been released on police bail until June 15 pending further inquiries.
