PUPILS at St Oswald's Primary School in Kidderminster dug out their spades and forks to transform their school grounds.

Children, parents and teachers took it in shifts to plant the many donations of plants and seeds, from sunflowers to vegetables.

The pupils have been busy ensuring all their hard work does not go to waste by watering the plants everyday.

They have also been making signs so the rest of the school know what has been planted and what to look out for. Tesco made a donation which helped pay for compost and some climbing plants.

The makeover comes ahead of of the completion of building works at the school
