A LOTTERY has been launched to help support local groups and sports clubs in Chaddesley Corbett.
Jukes Village Store will be selling tickets for £1 a week, with 40 per cent of ticket sales going towards the Chaddesley Corbett Community Fund.
Shopowner Jayne Powell hopes the money can be used for all sorts of community projects, from amateur dramatics to fixing a church roof.
Mrs Powell said: “As a member of sports clubs, I recognise how difficult it is to raise money, even though the parish council help where they can.”
Professional lottery franchise company, the Winning Ticket, provides the chance to win a nationwide weekly sum of £25,000, along with smaller prizes.
