TV and ring stolen in Kidderminster burglary

A TELEVISION and a gold ring were stolen from a house in Kidderminster.

Theives broke into the Lyndholm Road property through the front door between 12.15pm and 3.40pm yesterday.

A 42-inch Sony television and a gold ring with an oval shaped sapphire were stolen from the property.

The theives are believed to have left the house the same way they came in.

Detective Constable Marc Waring, from Kidderminster CID, said: "This happened in broad daylight and the offenders would have either needed a car to take the large television away, or it is possible that they may have been able to remove it on foot largely unnoticed if they had gone down a nearby alleyway.

"I would urge anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles or people in the area of Lyndholm Road yesterday to call us."
