KIDDERMINSTER Horticultural Society is holding its 58th annual show over two days.
The event takes place in the grounds of the Mercure Kidderminster Hotel on Habberley Road, Bewdley, on Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9, from 10am until 5.30pm.
There will be a country fair alongside the traditional horticultural show and some of the highlights will include vintage car, tractors, motor bikes and old agricultural tool displays as well as floral and cookery demonstrations.
There will be prizes in more than 200 different classes including a new class for this year in making scarecrows.
Society member Louise Aston said: “We are looking forward to the weekend. A lot of hard work and commitment has gone into organising it, it is a nice family show and we hope it will be as successful this year as it has been over the last few years.
“There is plenty for people to do and see - we are excited about it and hope the sun will be shining.”
There will also be a plant sale, gardener’s question time, basket making, dog agility, dancing and cookery and craft demonstrations.
The show will be officially opened by BBC Midlands Today presenter Michael Collie.
