Woman taken to hospital following three-car accident near Bewdley

A WOMAN was taken to hospital following an accident involving three vehicles just outside Bewdley.
The accident happened shortly before 12.15pm today opposite the entrance to Blackstone Riverside Park on the A456 Stourport Road near the B4195 Bewdley Road.
The vehicles involved were a red Citroen, a silver Hyundai and a blue Saab.
A woman driving the Citroen was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester with what were believed to be minor injuries.
Police directed traffic at the accident scene until the vehicles could be moved. The road was cleared by about 1pm.
