Two charged with break-in at Kidderminster's WH Smith

A MAN and a youth have been charged with a burglary at a Kidderminster town centre store.

They were arrested at WH Smith in Vicar Street when police responded to an alarm activated at the store at about 9.15pm on Sunday.

The 19-year-old and 16-year-old have both have been charged with burgling the store and stealing an MP4 player and DVD cases.

The 19-year-old has also been charged with burgling a home in Offmore Road, Kidderminster, on Monday, August 27 and stealing an Xbox console worth £150.

They were both released on conditional police bail to appear before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 20.
