Jewellery stolen in Kidderminster daytime burglary
1:34pm Wednesday 5th September 2012 in News
JEWELLERY including a wedding and engagement ring were stolen from a home during the day in Kidderminster.
It happened between 2pm and 5pm on Monday at a home off Chester Road South, near King Charles I School.
Thieves broke in and made an untidy search before stealing a set of silver cutlery and a selection of gold, silver and costume jewellery, including a wedding and engagement ring and a number of high value pieces.
Det Con Lloyd Davies said: “The owners are understandably upset particularly as much of the jewellery has sentimental value.
“We would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing suspicious activity in the area on Monday afternoon, particularly any cars parked in unusual circumstances.
“If anyone is offered jewellery or silver cutlery for sale and is in any doubt about its source we would urge them to call us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should call Det Con Davies on 101, quoting incident 579-S-020912, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
