Gardening tips boost cancer charity

GREEN-fingered tipsters passed on words of gardening wisdom to a full house and helped raise £600 for a leading cancer charity.

The cash was raised through ticket sales and a raffle at the popular gardeners’ question time, organised by the Wyre Forest committee of Cancer Research UK.

The event was held at Kidderminster’s Stone Manor Hotel last Wednesday. An expert panel featured Paul Cook, of Cook's Nurseries, Stourport and Reg Moule, of BBC Hereford and Worcester.
