A PARENT and toddler group in Bewdley will be celebrating 25 years of supporting families in the town.

The Noah’s Ark Parents and Toddlers group, which was set up by a group of mothers from Bewdley Baptist Church, will be toasting the milestone at the church on Saturday from 2pm.

Ruth Tiffany, of the group, said: “We thought that we couldn’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the fact that we’ve been part of the lives of thousands of local children, parents, grandparents and child minders over the last 25 years.

There will be craft activities and people can also view photos from across the years, at the event.

Ms Tiffany added: “We’ve had the joy of seeing some children who attended in the early years, coming back as mums, which is always exciting.”

Simon Harry, pastor of Bewdley Baptist Church, said: “We believe families and children are so important. It’s amazing that we’ve been able to be part of the lives of so many families over the years. It would be fantastic to see our church packed out with people celebrating with us.”
