Armed police attend disorder in Kidderminster

ARMED police attended a disorder in Kidderminster following reports that a man was armed with a crossbow.

A number of officers were called to the Rifle Range estate after two groups met over an ongoing dispute in an alleyway between Woodbury Road and Walter Nash Road East - known locally as Piggy Alley - between 11pm and midnight on Saturday.

Police are considering unconfirmed reports the man was armed with a crossbow.

Detectives from Kidderminster CID were investigating the incident today,  while uniformed officers patrolled the estate to reassure residents.

No-one was injured in the incident. Anyone with information should call police on 101, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
