A CAR crashed into a building in Stourport following a collision with a lorry.

The blue Vauxhall Tigra left the road before smashing into the wall of Anglo House, off Worcester Road, after it collided with a white Leyland Daf lorry in Mitton Street shortly before 10.30am on Monday.

No-one was in that part of the building at the time of the crash, as it is currently undergoing refurbishment work.

The female driver of the Tigra was left shaken by the incident. She was seen by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.

The lorry driver was unhurt.

@luke210389 - True except this happened in Mitton Street.

I'm wondering if this is a case of someone pulling out of Worcester Road into *their* lane on the left and someone coming out of Gilgal and leaving *their* right-hand lane and side-swiping them.

Slap some cones between the two lanes to keep the vehicles in their respective lanes a little longer before they merge as they're supposed to.
