Pet store raising cash for animal charities

A PET store in Kidderminster will be raising awareness and cash for local animal charities.
Staff at Pets at Home, in Crossley Retail Park, will be holding a national fund-raising drive until October 30, as part of an initiative run by animal charity Support Adoption For Pets.
Lucy Price, store manager, said: “Our nationwide fundraising drives have become a permanent fixture in our calendar as they give us the chance to increase awareness of pet adoption and raise money for local anima rescues at the same time.
"Our last fund-raising campaign raised £137,000, however this is the first time we’ve run the initiative for an entire month so we’re hoping to beat that amount this time round.”
She added there would be activities at the store for customers to take part in.
