BIKERS are needed to take part in a charity motorcycle ride to help raise money for a two-year-old Kidderminster boy who is battling Leukaemia.

The special Charity Chicken Run event, which has been co-organised by Alan Wright, will help Charlie Beard-Harris and his family while he is being treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Motorcycles, trikes and scooters are invited to take part in the 40-mile ride back to Stourport on Sunday, October 28.

Riders should meet at Hopwood Services, junction 2 of the M42 at 11am with their £5 donation for taking part.

Despite this, the planned route does not include the motorway.

A family event will then be held at the end point of Stourport Boat Club to continue the fundraising including refreshments and a bouncy castle.

The Anthony Nolan Trust will also be attending the event to try and find a bone marrow match for Charlie.
