BUSINESSES in Hartlebury raised £10,000 for a day centre for the homeless.
The firms in Hartlebury Trading Estate collected the cash during a fund-raising event organised by food producer CP Foods.
The money has been donated to Maggs Day Centre, in Worcester, to refurbish its shower block.
Gloria Blount, of CP Charity Partnership, said: “The support and enthusiasm of our staff and businesses throughout the Hartlebury Trading Estate has been the key to the triumph of our latest fund-raising efforts.
“I’d just like to thank all the companies and individuals who have been involved in raising this amazing amount of money for such an important local cause.”
Mel Kirk, service manager at Maggs, added she was “grateful” for the donation.
