Four rare bikes stolen in Kidderminster

FOUR rare bicycles worth more than £2,000 have been stolen from a shed in Kidderminster.

The bikes, worth about £600 each, were taken from a locked metal shed in Cherry Orchard between 7pm yesterday and 8.05am this morning.

Two of them are black, white and red Cube analog bikes, with Rockshox lockable front forks and a Shimano Index 27-speed gear set. One has a 20-inch frame and the other a 16-inch frame.

The third bike is a red Giant Defy road bike with black and white trim, Shimano 27-speed gear set and thin tyres and the other is a yellow and black GT road bike, again with a Shimano 27-speed gear set.

Investigating officer, PC Amanda Watkins said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw the bikes being taken or knows who the offenders are.

"They may try to sell them so we would urge anyone who is offered a bike for sale similar to the ones stolen to call us as soon as possible."

Witnesses or anyone with information about the bikes should contact PC Watkins at Kidderminster station on 101, quoting incident 165-S-161012, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
