Dale Parmenter, of Drpgroup, was presented with the inaugural Michael Brinton Pride of Achievement Award by Worcestershire Ambassadors for his business achievements and support for corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects throughout the county.
The award was presented by Mr Brinton’s widow, Angela Brinton. Mr Brinton, a former chairman of Brintons Carpets, died in April.
The Worcestershire Ambassadors is an organisation promoting the economic prosperity of the county. The award ceremony took place at the Treetops venue at West Midland Safari Park.
Mr Parmenter said: “It is a great honour to be presented with the first Pride of Worcestershire award named in memory of Michael Brinton and presented by Angela Brinton, also apt that Drpgroup’s first two clients who supported me in the early days were Brintons Carpets and the Safari Park.”
