Mobile cancer support information service to visit Kidderminster
12:10pm Monday 22nd October 2012 in News
MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s mobile service is coming to Kidderminster next week.
It will be at the Bullring on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 30 and 31, open from 9.30am to 4.30pm both days.
The mobile team of information and support specialists will welcome anyone on board with a question or concern about cancer for a confidential chat or to pick up information leaflets. No appointment is required and all information provided is free.
Amanda Cummins, Macmillan mobile cancer information and support specialist, said: “As treatments improve, more and more people are living with cancer in their daily lives.
“They need more than medical help. They also need practical, emotional and financial support, which the mobile team can provide.
“Cancer is the toughest fight many people will ever face. If you have any worries or questions about anything to do with cancer, whether it’s about yourself, a relative or friend, come and talk to our Macmillan information specialists face to face. It’s free and completely confidential.”
Anyone who cannot visit the centre when it visits Kidderminster but has questions about cancer can ask Macmillan for free on 0808 808 00 00 or log on to macmillan.org.uk
