A LAW firm with offices across the West Midlands has been named winner of the Best Customer Service Award in the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2013.

QualitySolicitors Talbots was recognised in the awards, which followed the theme Business is Good for the Black Country, supported by the British Chambers of Commerce through their campaign Business is Good for Britain.

Director at QualitySolicitors Talbots, Martyn Morgan, said: “This is an award I am delighted to accept on behalf of everyone at QualitySolicitors Talbots.

“Law firms are often criticised for their customer service - unfairly in my view - but this shows we really do put our clients first in everything that we do. I am so proud to receive this and thank the Chamber for promoting and celebrating great local businesses.”

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce sees the awards as a platform to recognise, profile and celebrate companies which represent and contribute to the local economy.

The judging panel felt that the firm went the extra mile for its clients, breaking barriers to make it easier for customers to access advice, with extended office opening hours and a dedicated team to deal with all new enquiries.

It was a second award within a few months for the firm, which was named QualitySolicitors Brand Ambassador of the Year 2013 in September, beating off friendly competition from more than 100 other law firms within the QualitySolicitors network.

QualitySolicitors Talbots has been in the West Midlands area since 1828 and has offices in Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley and Codsall as well as one in Halesowen that trades as Talbots Law.

It has 60 solicitors, six offices and 170 staff.
